Voice actor Natsuki Hanae, who plays Ken Kaneki, revealed on Twitter on Sunday that he received an official custom-made Tokyo Ghoul mask. He noted that the high-quality mask uses his own measurements.
Hanae thanked the mask's creators and said he will keep it on his mask shelf as an heirloom.

The mask's creators first measured Hanae's face and then made a version of the mask out of clay, followed by a urethane resin molding version, and then a latex coating.
Tokyo Ghoul was in the news recently when it was revealed that the latest Eminem album samples the Tokyo Ghoul √A insert song "Glassy Sky." The series is also a favorite of Olympic gold medalist Yuzuru Hanyu, who got to talk to Hanae while he was in character as Ken Kaneki. Hanyu took the opportunity to ask Hanae to eat him.
The second season of Tokyo Ghoul:re will premiere on Tokyo MX on October 9 at 11:00 p.m. It will also begin airing later on the Sun TV, TV Aichi, TV Q Kyuushuu, and BS11 channels. Funimation will stream the season on its FunimationNow service this fall.
