Viewster Streams Vampire Holmes Anime
posted on by Karen Ressler
Video streaming service Viewster announced on Monday that it is streaming the television anime adaptation of Cucuri's escape game app Vampire Holmes as it airs in Japan. The first two four-minute episodes are now streaming with English subtitles.
Director, producer, singer-songwriter, and original creator of the game Yoshinobu Sena stars in the anime as Holmes and provided lyrics for the theme song performed by Nami Tamaki. Nobunaga Shimazaki (Free! Eternal Summer, GLASSLIP) is playing Hudson and Ayahi Takagaki (Special A, Durarara!!×2 Shō) is playing Kira.
The original app for iOS and Android is free to download with chapter one available for free, but chapters two and on must be purchased. The story of the original game takes place in London shrouded in night, where "Vampire Slasher" incidents have been happening in the streets. The player must work with Holmes (seen left), a detective who does not solve mysteries and does not use reasoning skills, to investigate a suspicious mansion and learn the truth.
