posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced during its "Gundam Game New Year Festival 2018" livestream on Tuesday that the SD Gundam G Generation Genesis game will get a physical and digital release for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 26. The company also began streaming the first promotional video for the release.
The game will be the first Gundam title for the Nintendo Switch, and it will include all of the previously released downloadable content for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game. The game will cost 6,800 yen (about US$61), and the first copies will include a download code for the Super Gachapon World: SD Gundam X Super Famicom (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) game.
The upcoming issue Kadokawa's Famitsu magazine will reveal more information about the game on Thursday.
The game shipped for the PS4 and PS Vita in Japan and Southeast Asia in November 2016. The game included English subtitles in Southeast Asia.
The SD Gundam G Generation series often crosses over the storylines of different Gundam series, and allows players to use the game's featured mobile suits, who appear in their SD forms.
